ALL ABOUT THE ZODIAC CLASSIC INFLATABLE BOAT RANGE

The Zodiac Classic is, as the name suggests, a very good and practical all-round inflatable boat.

There are three sizes of the Zodiac Classic in 2013.

With the Zodiac Classic, on all three models, there is a choice of one of two different floor types - either aluminium or a more economical plywood floor.

Any version of the Zodiac Classic will accept the optional accessory of helm steering and additional seating.

This Zodiac Classic design of inflatable boat has been used for many years and remains perenially popular. The Zodiac Classic lives up to its name - a competent design of inflatable tender that has been around for many years, however one which continues to have popular following.

These Zodaic Classics are ever-popular boats that forfill the many roles of a practical all-rounder, whether that role is for fishing, small work boat, or sports boat for the family. The Zodiac Classics tend to be used by Pennine Marine's customers for fishing, leisure or as small work/support/rescue boats.

With the higher power engines the Classic becomes a small sports boat, ideal for the growing family. Their folding design makes the Zodiac Classic very suitable as yacht and motor cruiser tenders.

The Zodiac Classic also remain popular for use as sailing club support boat and also by volenteer inshore rescue services. The design of the Zodiac Classic is very stable - it has a shallow draft and the low freeboard over the side tubes gives swimmers easy access to and from the water up into the boat.

There is a choice of two floor types on the Zodiac Classic, aluminium for outstanding strength, or a more economical plywood floor. Either flooring version on the Zodiac Classic will accept the optional steering console and seating.

There are three sizes of Zodiac Classic inflatable;
Mark 1 - 3.5m (140 inches) long for five adults.
Mark 2C- 3.8m (152 inches) long for six adults.
Mark 2 - 4.2m (168 inches) long for seven adults.

The Mark 1 at 1.61m (65 inches) is narrower than the two larger models, which are both 1.83m (74 inches) wide.

All of these Zodiac Classic boats are rated Catagory C, so they are are fine for inshore sea use and all inland lakes, rivers and waterways.

The Zodiac Classic will take most engine manufacturers' current four stroke engine models. All Zodiac Classic versions take the short shaft engine. A wide range of engine sizes - totalling 6hp to 30hp can be fitted across the different boats in the Zodiac Classic range, thus giving a Classic user a wide range of different power options from gently planing to high powered planing.The Zodiac Classic range will take outboard engines from 6hp to 40hp

Many Zodiac Classics' are used with tiller steering engines, these simply bolt onto the boats transom. However the Zodiac Classic has two options of bar or mini-consoles and benches. With these options a seated helm position is possible and these options allow remotely steered outboard engines.

There is a comprehensive range of standard accessories that come with the Zodiac Classic boats, such as removeable bow bag, 2 carrying bags, 2 paddles, foot pump and pressure gauge, repair kit and owners manual (these standard accessories are all included in the boat price given below).

There is a range of optional extras that can be fitted to the Zodiac Classic inflatable boat. These options are benches, consoles, covers, fishing rod holders, launch trolley, launch wheels, bathing ladder and electric pump(these options are all additional to the boat-only price given below)

The Zodiac Classic prices listed above are boat only.
The Classic can be sold on its own, with engines, with accessories or with a trailer
Please contact Pennine Marine if you require a complete Zodiac Classic package including outboard engine and/or the seating and console.
These Zodiac Classic packages can be provided either with or without a road trailer.
