OVERVIEW AN INTRODUCTION TO THE ZODIAC PRO RIB RANGE The Zodiac Pro series range of sports ribs are the best sellers of the Zodiac rib fleet. The Zodiac Pro rib is a superb deep-V hulled rib, ideal for high performance boating, watersports and generally cutting through the waves out at sea. Zodiac's Pro rib's - of all shapes, sizes and colours - have been extremely popular with Pennine Marine's customers over a number of years. Over the last decade, Pennine Marine have sold virtually every combination of shape, size and colour of the Zodiac Pro rib. If you are thinking about a new Zodiac Pro rib, then seeing the various sizes of Pro rib up - close and at first-hand is an ideal starting point for any potential new Pro rib owner. OVERVIEW ZODIAC PRO RIBS'S RESTYLED FOR 2013 The latest Zodiac Pro rib series were all redesigned and restyled by Zodiac in early 2012. The Pro rib range is unchanged in 2013 LIFESTYLE ZODIAC PRO RIBS - THE PREFERED CRUISING GROUNDS Pennine Marine's customers have taken Zodiac Pros' far and wide. Being a very popular rib there are few areas Pro's have not been! The home cruising grounds for the Zodiac pro ribs are the sea's off the west coast of Scotland, the Irish Sea off North Wales and Anglesey, Isle of Man, the English East Coast coast and the North Sea. The Zodiac Pros' are ideal for sea use, as with both inherent good handling and a deep V hull they are extremely competent to handle and take safely to sea. Closer to home the Zodiac Pro's are popular on Windermere, although since the speed limit was imposed many of our Pro rib customers have "headed north" to Loch Lomand and the scenic west coast of Scotland. Further afield, Pennine Marines customers have used their Zodiac Pro' rib's in the Solent, along the English south coast and in West Wales. International export orders of Zodiac Pro ribs have been widespread in Europe, with deliveries from us here in Skipton as far afield as mainland Spain, Minorca and Majorcia, Greece, Turkey and Scandinavia. The other advantage of the Zodiac Pro is that - especially in the smaller sizes - that the Pro is an ideal trailer rib. The Zodiac Pro rib is ideal to tow, launch and recover using a road trailer. This makes it very popular to store in the UK, with many of our customers taking them to Europe by ferry for their holidays. LIFESTYLE ZODIAC PRO SERIES RIBS - CUSTOMISED TO YOUR LIFESTYLE The Zodiac Pro series rib is based on a unique design concept for ribs - a flat deck fitted out with your own choice of seating and consoles. This empowers you, the customer, to specify seating and consoles that best suit both your driving style and your passenger seating requirements. This gives you the customer a lot of flexibility as to what equipment to put on your Zodiac Pro rib. It also makes describing all the different permutations (see below) very complicated! However the Zodiac Pro can be customised probably more than any other rib on the market. DESIGN ZODIAC PRO RIBS The Zodiac Pro rib range for 2013 has a number of detailed design enhancements,so that the Pro's detailing is better than ever this year. As noted above, the most striking change on the Zodiac Pro rib range back in 2012 was introducting the option of the new grey hull. The grey-hulled Zodiac Pro rib just looks stunning, with any one of the various different choices of tube colour. As well as looking good, the grey hull on the Zodiac Pro is practical, hardwearing and an eminently sensible seaworthy colour. To conclude the 2013 Zodiac Pro rib styling, especially the grey hulls, are both practical and good looking. In our opinion they are a marked improvement for the Zodiac Pro series ribs, over and above what was already a good, capable boat. DESIGN THE FIVE SIZES ACROSS THE ZODIAC PRO RIB RANGE The Zodiac Pro series rib models for sale in 2013 are in three slightly different models across a range of five rib sizes; Zodiac Pro 420 rib, a 7 person rib Zodiac Pro 500 rib, a 9 person rib Zodiac Pro 550 rib, a 12 person rib Zodiac Pro 650 rib, a 15 person rib Zodiac Pro 750 rib, a 16 person rib DESIGN THE THREE MODELS IN THE ZODIAC PRO MODEL RIB RANGE For 2013 there are three slightly different Zodiac Pro rib models; The Zodiac Pro Classic rib - a great all rounder rib. The Zodiac Pro Racing rib - a rib optimised for speed and watersports. The Zodiac Pro Touring rib - a rib for exploring with family and friends DESIGN THE ZODIAC PRO RIB - MATERIALS, SIZES AND COLOURS FOR 2012 The ZODIAC PRO CLASSIC RIB The Zodiac Pro Classic rib comes in three sizes - Pro 420, Pro 500, Pro 550 - all with PVC tubes. The Pro Classic has a choice of either red or black tubes(with flashes). With all the Pro Classics ribs you have the choice of either tube colours on either a white or a grey hull. THE ZODIAC PRO NEO RIBS - PRO 420 NEO, PRO 500 NEO, PRO 550 NEO For the Zodiac Pro NEO for sale in 2013 are available in three sizes - 420, 500, 550. All three Zodiac Pro Neo ribs are with Neoprene tubes and the Zodiac Pro Neo only comes with grey tubes. However you have the choice of either a white hull or a grey hull. THE ZODIAC PRO "NEO" RIBS -PRO 650 NEO AND PRO 750 NEO The two largest Zodiac Pro ribs the Pro 650 and Pro 750 are only for sale in 2013 with the neoprene tubes. These two larger Pro models only have the neoprene tubes in either grey or red. The Pro 650 Neo and Pro 750 Neo are only available with the grey Pro rib hull. THE ZODIAC PRO RACING RIB -PRO 500 RACING AND PRO 550 RACING The Zodiac Pro Racing rib is for sale on the two mid-sized Pro ribs - the Pro 500 and Pro 550, both only with Neoprene tubes. Black/Grey tubes colour on either a white or grey rib hull. THE ZODIAC PRO TOURING RIB -PRO 500 TOURING, PRO 550 TOURING The Zodiac Pro Touring rib is for sale in two sizes, the Pro 500 touring rib and Pro 550 rib. These are both PVC tubes in either blue/light grey tubes or black/light grey tubes, either on the grey or white hulls. To conclude on the 2013 colours; Zodiac Pro 420, Pro 500 and Pro 550 ribs for sale in 2013 are available with either the white or grey hulls. The deck colour matches the hull colour. Pro 650 and Pro 750 ribs are only with a grey hull and decks. ZODIAC PRO RIBS FOR SALE WITH A WIDE RANGE OF OPTIONS The Zodiac Pro rib range has a "modular deck" arrangement, allowing you to select from a wide range of different seats and consoles. This feature of the Pro rib basically allows you to design your own watersports rib. For 2013 there are a number of different colour choices on the tubes and the hull - and the new grey hulls on the Pro ribs look fantastic. Therefore the Zodiac Pro rib range being offered for sale in 2013 is even more versitile better than previous years offerings. Full road trailer packages for Zodiac Pro ribs are either sold separately, or can be intergrated and sold with your new rib. The Zodiac Pro 420 rib and Zodiac Pro 500 rib are very popular trailer boats, quite simply because they fit inside a normal domestic garage (after you have taken the junk out!) ACCESSORIES NAVIGATION AND ELECTRONICS OPTIONS Navigation electronics are easily fitted to the Pro series ribs consoles. These allow you wider ranging expeditions and increased safety across the open sea. These extra electronics fitted (or retrofitted) to amny of the zodiac Pro rib range can be marine VHF radio (with DSC), GPS plotters, depthsounders, fishfinders, AIS and radars. ACCESSORIES ZODIAC PRO RIB SERIES - ALTERNATIVE OUTBOARD ENGINE UNITS The Zodiac Pro ribs are powered by any one of a wide range of outboard engines. Pennine Marine will normally fit to a Zodiac Pro rib either of the two top outboard engine brands, i.e. Suzuki or Yamaha. However the Zodiac Pro ribs are flexible, and so are we here at Pennine Marine. therefore we will fit any outboard engine from the Honda, Tohatsu, Evinrude/Evinrude and Mercury/ Mariner outboard engine ranges to any of the Zodiac Pro rib range. ACCESSORIES ZODIAC PRO SERIES RIBS - COLOURS AND MATERIALS OPTIONS For the Zodiac Pro rib series, you choosing any model in any colour with the standard PVC tubes - there is no cost premium for any of the different tube and hull colour combinations. However if you choose the premium neoprene tubes on your Zodiac Pro ribs, then these premium neoprene tubes do attract a cost surcharge. We also ask you to note that there only a few limited edition colours available on the Zodiac Pro ribs with these premium neoprene tubes. ACCESSORIES MARINE ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEMS FOR ZODIAC PRO RIBS Marine entertainment systems of CD, FM radio and IPod woith speakers can be fitted to all the Zodiac Pro series ribs. ACCESSORIES DIFFERENT SEATING AND CONSOLES FOR ZODIAC PRO RIBS Pennine Marine can fit your Pro rib with your choice of seating or console. We offer a wide range of ten consoles and six different syles of seats (or bolsters). Of particular interest to families are the bench type seating instead of jockey seats.
